Best hands-on course for meniscal root repair

But spent Saturday in a Phoenix cadaver lab comparing transtibial pull-out vs all-inside anchors for medial root tears; the most consistent footprint I hit used a curved tibial guide and a double cinch through an 8 mm tunnel. Who has a CME that really drills tensioning at 20–30 N, tunnel alignment off the PCL, and post-op protocols that genuinely protect the repair?

“drills tensioning at 20–30 N, tunnel alignment off the PCL, and post-op protocols that genuinely” — AANA’s Meniscus & Root Repair cadaver course in Rosemont does exactly that with load-cell tensioners and PCL-referenced guides (https://www.aana.org/education/skills-courses). One tip that stuck for me: precondition the double-cinch with 10 cycles at about 15 N, then retension to 25 N before fixation to blunt creep; I still lean transtibial for consistency unless bone quality is great.

I’ll add to @r_collins23: the AOSSM/OLC Meniscus & Root Repair skills course gives true reps with inline tensioners at 20–30 N and PCL-referenced guides, plus a brace/ROM plan that protects the root. Do you tension at 90° with a gentle posterior drawer — it’s like tuning a guitar string? If you want more implant variety, the Arthrex Naples lab is great, but CME can be hit-or-miss.
